This is an interesting question that most Secondary students may often encounter in the Inverse and Direct Proportion chapter. However, this is not the typical type of question, though teachers often find it a joy to test on your kids’ general knowledge in Math question.
Try to stretch your brain a little!
Think about it, will there be a general equation of y=kx or y=k/x required?
Clue is, this is NOT typical, and sometimes you need to use some common geographical sense as well. To make it more interesting for your kids, try drawing out a mountain, you might be able to see the light too! First, try looking at the DIFFERENCE between the scenery you see at the top and the bottom of the mountain.
If your kids are able to get the hints, they will never find such questions traumatizing anymore!
Good luck and have fun squeezing that brain juice of yours!
